Chelsea will name Roberto Di Matteo as the new manager on a full-time basis after failing to talk former Barcelona boss Pep Guardiola out of taking a sabbatical.
Swansea City hope to appoint a successor to Brendan Rodgers by the end of this week from a shortlist headed by Ian Holloway and Michael Laudrup.




Iceland international Gylfi Sigurdsson will join Liverpool in a £7m .
Arsenal are in pole position to sign Montpellier forward Olivier Giroud according to his club coach Rene Girard.
Lille defender Mathieu Debuchy who has been linked with a move to Newcastle, says he will decide his future after Euro 2012.

Zenit St Petersburg have opened informal talks with Arsenal over re-signing Andrey Arshavin as the midfield dynamo impresses at Euro 2012.
Paris Saint-Germain have made a move for Tottenham playmaker Luka Modric, offering Spurs £30m for the Croatian playmaker.
Everton midfielder Marouane Fellaini could be on his way out of Goodison Park after admitting: "I want to play in the Champions League or in the Europa League. Last season we finished seventh with Everton, and we were not able to qualify for Europe, which was a shame.
Liverpool are prepared to fight off interest from Bundesliga side Schalke for free agent Salomon Kalou who left Chelsea at the end of the season.
Tottenham and QPR are in the hunt for Birmingham goalkeeper Ben Foster, but the player is already the subject of a £3m bid from West Brom, with whom he was on loan last season.

AC Milan say they will not be making a bid for Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli.
Manchester United are considering making a £14m move for PSV Eindhoven midfielder Kevin Strootman, with long-term absentee Darren Fletcher's future still uncertain.
Man Utd are believed to be close to signing highly-rated Crewe forward Nick Powell for a fee of £4m.

Queens Park Rangers have made an audacious bid to sign Montpellier and France striker Olivier Giroud who is rated at £50m by his club.
Striker Edin Dzeko is set to leave Manchester City after Carlos Tevez said he is staying at the Etihad Stadium.
New Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert is set to return to Norwich to sign striker Grant Holt after the Scot revealed there is no agreement in place about him signing his former players.
Paul Lambert will not have to sell £24m striker Darren Bent to fund his rebuilding job at Aston Villa.
Premier League new boys Southampton are set to complete the signing of Burnley striker Jay Rodriguez for a fee of £7m.
