Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has telephoned Anzhi Makhachkala owner Suleyman Kerimov to offer £32m for winger Willian in an attempt to prevent the Brazilian joining Tottenham.
Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is so angry about Chelsea's pursuit of Willian he is ready to cancel the £94m transfer of Wales forward Gareth Bale to Real Madrid.

Newcastle will try to get as much as £20m for midfielder Yohan Cabaye after rejecting a "derisory" bid of around £12m from Arsenal, who have also made a bid for Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba.
