Middlesbrough 2 - Arsenal 1

Boro searching for any point and this was an unlikely fixture to look for points. Arsenal have been on top form this season. The first goal came from a Downing as a penalty was awarded for Toure bringing down Aliadiere in the area in the first 4 mins. Both Adabayoy and Tuncay missed chances by a whisker but Tuncay Sanli was on target on the 74th min as he blasted a high shot in the back of the net. Arsenal only consolation came in the dying minutes as Rosicky managed to score.

Tottenham 2 - Man City 1

Sven is losing his touch and when asked all he says is " well eh ". Tipped for finninshing in top 4 well perhaps top 6. Spurs had there first goal on the 45th min and a very controversial decision as it came off Chimbonda's arm in an offside position but some how the goal stood. Petrov delivered a good ball in from a corner as Bianchi headed it away to bring it all level on the 61st min. Ireland earned himself a red as he lunged at Young-Pyo Lee, Defoe managed to smash home the winner in the 83rd min after a chance had hit the cross bar , Defoe had 2 more chances but they held the lead and took the well earned 3 points.

Bolton 4 - Wigan 1

Bolton fans will be wondering and hoping that Anelka dosnt go in January amid rumours. An own goal from Scharner gave Bolton the lead in just 2 mins, but Landzaat put thing level after 14 mins. Anelka sent a penalty shot high but redeemed himself by sending a brilliant cross to Nolan who back heeled in on the 37th min. Davies took advantage of rubbish defeding from Wigan and scored on the 70th min, and Anelka sealed the deal with a goal looking so simple on the 89th min. Hopefully Bolton have found their confidence again, Wigan ,well what can I say.

Tough game this one, and if you picked west Ham honestly well done. Blackburn been a bit unstable latley. Aston got the only goal on the 52nd min, Santa Cruz was off target with 2 attempts, West Ham looking very confident and comtable in mid table.
