Fabian Delph has left League one club Leeds to rise to the dizzy heights of the top flight. The 19 year old signed for Villa for an undisclosed fee but it is believed that Leeds will make between £8m to £9m out of the deal.
Fabian said "I've managed to get the move here and I'm going to work my hardest and hopefully the gaffer will give me the opportunity to play".
He signed a new four-year deal with Leeds in September last year, but continued to attract interest from Premier League clubs and as we all know a contract isnt worth the paper its written on these days.
Manchester City admitted their interest in the player while Everton were also thought to be interested.
A Leeds statement said: "Leeds United wish to place on record our appreciation for the honourable manner in which Aston Villa have conducted their interest in the player.
