January Transfer window

Players leaving and arriving at all Premier league clubs.
The transfer window re-opened for permanent and loan signings on 1 January and will shut for clubs in England and the Scottish Premier League at 23:00 GMT on 31 January.

For Scottish Football League clubs, the deadline is midnight on 31 January. The transfer window does not apply to clubs who play their football below the Blue Square Bet Premier level.

When the transfer window shuts, a club may still sign players on an emergency basis - for example, if they have no goalkeepers available - but only if they obtain special dispensation from their competition's governing body, such as the Premier League.

Players out of contract and without a club can be signed at any time if they were unattached free agents when the previous window closed.
