Mon 23rd

Freddie LJungberg will hope to prove a good signing for West Ham, they hope to boost their team as we all prepare for the out come of the stupid pantomime involving Tevez. Ljungberg was out most of last season with injury but has a very impressive track record, a solid player. My thoughts, West Ham have made a good signing.
Heinze is still looking to go to Anfield as Liverpool have lawyers entangled in the ding dong between the 2 clubs over the potential 6.8m transfer. It is believed that Ferguson has said he will let Heinze go but not to Liverpool, this is crazy he's not bigger than the Premier League.
Harry Redknapp is keen to get Kanu to put pen to paper for a new contract for a 1 year with another 1 as an option depending on games played.
Reading sign up 3 Korean youth players who will join the youth academy. Eamonn Dolan is quoted to have said "since signing Seol Ki-Hyeon and playing in the Peace Cup has given us a strong presence in South Korea"

Thurs 19th headlines

West Ham suffer another blow.
Julien Faubert their 6.1M summer signers is ruled out for 6 months with a ruptured achilles tendon

Man utd have ruled out Gabriel Heinze moving to Anfield for the 6M bid Liverpool put in . Real Madrid and Inter Milan have also shown interest.
Van der sar is unsure about his future with club. the 36 year old has 1 more year on his contract but say's his last season wasnt the best performance.

Arsenal's massive stake holder Stan Kroenke has asked for a meeting with the board for a full take over bid. Yet another club being bought up by another billionaire. Well some say its great because they will plough loads of cash into the clubs, yeah our money like Man Utd, it's called hike the prices up big time and pay the most , good luck to the clubs who remain unspoiled by billionaires

A bit for everyone

I understand that not everyone likes football so I will be adding a few bits and bobs that are not football related mainly polls covering topics in the news that sort of stuff

West Ham could be selling themself's short

So already Benayoun's gone to Liverpool , Reo-Coker to Villa with fellow team mate Harewood also moving to Villa. Roy carrols off to Rangers for a year, and last but by no means least the big deal Tevez.
So that's all the negatives, now the postive's well at least 1. Bellamy signed a 5 year deal. It still dos'nt counter balance what players West Ham have let go. They only just surrvied by the skin of their teeth and getting away with a fine instead of being docked points. Good luck to Curbishley and his men they may well need it.

Promoted teams

Birmingham, Derby and Sunderland all promoted. Which one will be the one to watch? My money is on Sunderland. Yes they've have a turbulent time in the last few seasons up and down and managerial changes. My humble opinion is that Roy Keane will do well with Sunderland.
As for Birmingham difficult to say. Lets see how their transfers go with the Konchesky deal pending. I must say it's good to see Steve Bruce still at the wheel and the club didn't take the usual stance of firing the manager. Also with Steve McManaman on the board this should add strength for the club.
And last but not least Derby. 2001 - 2001 season was the last top flight action for Derby. Claude Davis could prove to be a strong signing. Keen to stay in top flight football after being hampered by injury and relegation at Sheffield, perhaps being reunited with old boss Billy Davies will work well.
Let me know what you think.
Of course all of this is just my opinion and has no bearing on how any one will perform
