Liverpool could make an £8m move for QPR striker Loic Remy as they seek to cover for striker Luis Suarez during his 10-match ban.
Bayern Munich are expected to make a move for Suarez,with the Germans increasingly resigned to missing out on Robert Lewandowski to Manchester United.
Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has refused to rule out a move for  Borussia Dortmund striker Lewandowski.
Tottenham are monitoring Valencia's striker Roberto Soldado, who has scored 70 goals in 105 starts in three seasons for the Spanish side.
Manchester City are leading the chase to sign Napoli striker Edinson Cavani who has a £52m get-out clause in his contract.

Tottenham manager Andre Villas-Boas believes winger Gareth Bale will remain at the club if they qualify for the Champions League.
Sevilla's Argentinian centre-back Federico Fazio is a target of top clubs in England and Italy, according to his agent, with Arsenal and Liverpool thought to be interested in the 6ft 5 defender.
