Farewell to the Toon

Shear drop, Sob on the Tyne, Sheer agony, Tears on the Tyne and Down and out are just some of the back-page headlines relating to Newcastle's relegation.
These where just some of the headlines from the news papers

Two words Kevin Keegan if the club had given him run of the show and let him be a manager rather than just a figure head things would be a whole lot differant.
Alan Shearer was brave enough to say that they hadn't played well all season and they wouldn't be in this mess if they'd pulled their socks up ages ago, he also said that it inst Joe Kinnear or Keegans fault , the very men that destroyed that club are the money men , and a particular little troll who goes by the name of Dennis Wise, Director of football my arse. If you dont give control to a manager and then pannic and give control in the last 8 weeks of the season well you deserve to be where you are, and Im saying that out of sypathy for the fans who pay good money to watch 11 donkeys play football. as I said I do sypathise as I myself have watch Reading be destroyed single handed by Nicky Hammond another so called director of football.
The day will come when managers are managers again and Im glad to say it isnt every club that runs it on business. Who ever takes over at St James Park will have a massive task to do as getting back up isnt easy. it is time to get rid of some players that are just picking up the wages and not graphting on the pitch and let some new tallent come in, I'll see all you Toon supporters next season playing Reading. Damien Duff saying he want sto stay to help promotion chances helps you cant hold him soley responsible for the drop.
