Barcelona will compete with Manchester United and Arsenal to try to sign Borussia Dortmund's Germany midfielder Ilkay Gundogan.
Manchester United have renewed their interest in Galatasaray midfielder Wesley Sneijder. The Netherlands international has been linked with a move to Old Trafford for several years.
West Ham will bid for Inter Milan's Argentina striker Diego Milito. The players contract expires next summer and the Hammers are hoping to sign Milito for a reduced fee.
Cruzeiro's Brazilian forward Everton Ribeiro will consider a move to Manchester United, but Liverpool are also interested in the player, who could cost £10m.

Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard will be out for six weeks with a hamstring problem sustained in the 4-1 win over West Ham. 
Jordan Henderson is also going to miss several weeks with an ankle problem, leaving Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers with Lucas and Joe Allen as his only fit central midfielders.
