Indian tycoon Anil Ambani will fly into the UK on Monday with his sights set on taking over a Premier League club. Newcastle are top of his hit list but he will have to see off competition from a branch of the Abu Dhabi royal family. (Daily Express)

Owner Mike Ashley said in an interview with Newcastle's official magazine in August that only players with Kevin Keegan's approval would be bought - contradicting the club's recent statement about their ex-manager. (Various)

Real Zaragoza coach Marcelino Toral has ruled himself out of the running to succeed Keegan. (Daily Mirror)

Newcastle want Gianfranco Zola as their new coach, despite the former Chelsea striker being one of the frontrunners for the West Ham job. (Guardian)
